Fur and Feathers at Algonquin Park Aug 27- Sept 30 2010
Bill will have photos from his Fur and Feathers collection on display at Algonquin Park between August 27 and September 30 2010. The collection with be on display in the visitor centre at KM 43 in the Algonquin Room daily between 10am and 5pm. Admission is Free!

Photographer and Slide Maker of the Year 2009
Bill Bickle was selected as "Photographer of the Year 2009" by Napanee Photo Club this is the third consecutive year Bill has won this prestigous award. Bill also won "Slide Maker of the Year 2009" for the third consecutive year!

Napanee Museum has awarded Bill the "Peoples Choice" for his winning image "Alberta Church"
The Annual Print Competition / Exhibition held during October at the Napanee Museum has awarded Bill the "Peoples Choice" for his winning image "Alberta Church". This monchrome image has been very popular, most people are amazed how the shadows convey a visual leading up to the chapel.

Wildlife Photo Exhibit at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic
Wildlife Photo Exhibit will be on display at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic from October 16, 2009 to February 14, 2010. Unfortunately the Natural History Museum in Halifax is undergoing renovations but the Maritime Museum graciously offered space to house the exhibition

Feature at the Napanee Museum on October 17, 2009
Bill is being featured at the Napanee Museum on October 17. Between 11:00am and 4:00pm. He will be there to meet and greet people with several of his prints on display.
The winning image of Canadian Wildlife Photography 2008 from Canadian
Geographic Magazine will be featured as well as other winning images. A few images will also be available to purchase.
There will also be some of his slide ahows put to music on a high definition display during this session. A draw for a professionally framed image of Bill's award winning "Eagle Rays". The draw will be made at 4:00 pm that Saturday Oct, 17th.

The Museum of Nature is displaying my winning image from Canadian
Geographic, Canadian Wildlife Photography of the Year and may be viewed at the "Museum of Nature" on the 3rd floor of the Museum in Ottawa until September 7.
The Image will be travelling east to the Maritimes (Location to be determined) on a start of "National Tour" at selected Museums aceoss Canada.

Napanee Photo Club Annual Awards
At the Napanee Phot Club annual meeting Bill was awarded " Photographer of the Year 2008" and "Slide Maker of the Year 2008". This is the second consecutive year that bill has been awarded these two awards. Bill was also awarded the "Peoples Choice" award at the Annual Print Show 2008 with the winning image "Eagle Rays".

Canadian Wildlife Photography of the Year winner
Bill has been honored as a Canadian Wildlife Photography of the Year winner. This honour is presented by Canadian Geographic Magazine, Canadian Museum of Nature and Alliance of Natural History Museums of Canada. The honour includes a full page spread showing the image and a small caption published in the December 2008 issue of Canadian Geographic Magazine as well as a traveling exhibition across Canada at featured museums. With over 53,000 entries, this is quite an honour! The Magazine arrives on newsstands today. This winning image is hanging at Starbucks in Belleville, Ontario until December 31, 2008.
